Crust of Ice on the Shore of Snail Lake

There is something about textures and patterns that I find intriguing. This little composition caught my eye on the shore of Snail Lake in Shoreview, MN. Notice how the ice formed around the pebbles and how the blue sky reflects into the shadows.
